Complejo Turístico Los Trapiches (Los Trapiches Tourist Complex) was conceived as a place for tourist recreation, lovers of nature and to recreate the traditions of a country.
For the foreign tourist its main attraction is to enjoy an intimate contact with nature, represented by the beautiful and wonderful river “Prendas”, that can be walked along the ecological tracks, watching the region’s flora and fauna; and experiencing a close encounter with the nineteenth century Costa Rica found in a Sugar Mill (trapiche), built 130 years ago.
